This fall, not only are many of our favorite TV shows returning, but there are plenty of new TV shows premiering. With the new influx of shows, there are many different types of TV shows that will please every type of person on the planet. Here are a few of the newest TV shows that you may want to watch.

Variety shows are as old as time, and the newest addition to this genre is Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris on NBC. It is a very fun and funny show to lightening up your otherwise dull Tuesday nights. A variety show gives you exactly what it sounds like…a variety of different things. On this show you can see everything from crazy stunts to funny jokes to ridiculous prizes and a whole lot of laughs. Neil Patrick Harris hosts this new late night show, just the way he has hosted every award show for the past four years and has made this show legen…wait for it…DARY! Go check out Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris at 10pm Tuesday nights.

Modern Family. New Girl. The Big Bang Theory. What do all of these shows have in common? You got it; they are all TV comedies, and joining the ranks this fall is Grandfathered on FOX. John Stamos reappears on our TV screens with his new hit comedy. He plays a 50-year-old restaurant owner who finds out that he is father to actor Josh Peck. And not only is he now a father, but he is also a grandfather. This new comedy follows the family as they learn to adjust to what their new normal is. These types of comedies are always fun to watch with your families, so make a family night out of it. Catch Grandfathered on FOX at 8pm on Tuesdays.

American Horror Story may be the most popular drama horror TV show, but not for long; Scream Queens is coming for you on FOX. This show is just in time for Halloween, so if you are looking for something fun to watch to get you in the spooky spirit, Scream Queens might be for you. This show brings back many favorite actresses in a new horror series starring Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and many more fan favorites. This show follows a sorority who is struck with a series of murders exactly 20 years after 1995 sorority pledge went haywire and ended in murder. If you like blood, suspense, and famous actresses, you should check out Scream Queens on FOX at 9pm on Tuesday nights.

So many shows this season are starting with many new themes, ideas, and characters that give you a little taste of everything. Each series brings something special to the table, and are sure not to disappoint. Happy fall and let the TV show watching commence.
